In 2016, Mertel Hasanov started selling Arduino kits on eBay with one simple belief: electronics should be accessible to everyone.
What began as a side project quickly revealed a massive gap in the UK market. Makers and educators were trapped between two bad options: wait 3–4 weeks for cheap components from Asia, or pay premium prices at local retailers. Neither was acceptable.
So we built something different. By November 6th, 2020, Kunkune became a registered UK business with a clear mission: deliver quality electronic components at fair prices, fast, across the UK.
