SIM808 Module GSM GPRS Features:

• Power Input Options:
  • DC044 Interface & V_IN Pin: Voltage input ranges from 5V to 26V. Ensure a 2A current when using a 5V power source.
  • Lithium Battery Interface: Accepts a voltage of 3.5V to 4.2V.
• Operational Switch: To activate the module, switch to the OPEN state (closer to the board’s interior side).
• Antenna Interfaces: Equipped with GSM, GPS, and BT antenna connectors, ensuring wide coverage and signal strength.
• Startup Mechanics: Once powered, the PWR LED lights up. A long press (~2 sec) on the start button initiates the SIM808’s operations. Successful module registration is indicated by the LED flashing pattern.
• TTL Serial Interface: Offers a TTL level interface. The VMCU pin dictates the TTL UART’s high level, catering to 1.25V, 3.3V, or 5V systems. Ensure correct VMCU connection based on your MCU type.
• USB Interface: Exclusively for SIM808 firmware updates.

Operational Guide of SIM808 Module:

1. Essentials:
   • SIM808 SHIELD
   • DC9V Adapter
   • USB-TTL Module or equivalent
   • PC Software
2. Setting It Up:
   1. Link USB-TTL to the UART Interface:
      • TXD (USB-TTL) → RXD (SIM808)
      • RXD (USB-TTL) → TXD (SIM808)
      • GND (USB-TTL) → GND (SIM808)
   2. Insert a valid SIM card.
   3. Attach the GPS and GSM antennas.
   4. Connect a power adapter to the DC044 interface.
   5. Adjust the operational switch.
   6. Activate the module with a 2-second press on the POWKEY.
