Arduino Nano V3.0 Compatible — ATmega328P, CH340, 5V 16MHz

This Arduino Nano V3.0-compatible board runs an ATmega328P at 16MHz with 32KB of flash and a CH340G USB-to-serial chip for programming directly from the Arduino IDE. At 18.5 x 43.2mm, it is one of the smallest breadboard-compatible Arduino boards — fitting across a standard 830-hole breadboard and leaving two columns free on each side for circuit wiring. The CH340G works on Windows 10/11 without driver installation and on macOS and Linux natively.

  • ATmega328P at 16MHz — same MCU as the Arduino Uno
  • 32KB flash, 2KB SRAM, 1KB EEPROM
  • 22 I/O pins — 14 digital (6 PWM), 8 analogue inputs (10-bit)
  • CH340G USB interface — programs from Arduino IDE without extra drivers
  • Mini USB connector — for programming and power
  • Breadboard-compatible — 18.5mm width fits across a standard breadboard

Is the CH340 Nano fully compatible with the ATmega16U2 version?

For Arduino sketches and library compatibility, yes — both run the same ATmega328P at 16MHz and appear identically in the Arduino IDE under the Arduino Nano board definition. The only difference is the USB chip: CH340G instead of ATmega16U2. Serial communication, bootloader, and pin functions are identical. A very small number of USB-HID projects that use the 16U2 for custom USB descriptors cannot be replicated on the CH340 version.

What is the pin voltage on the Nano?

All digital and analogue I/O pins operate at 5V logic. The 3.3V pin provides a regulated 3.3V output at up to 50mA for powering 3.3V sensors and modules. Do not connect 5V logic directly to 3.3V-only sensors without a level shifter.

Best for

Breadboard prototyping, wearable electronics, data logging, sensor nodes, small robot controllers, custom keyboard firmware, ESC programmers, USB serial adapters, and any project where the Uno is physically too large.

Why Kunkune

Shipped from UK stock. 60-day returns, no minimum order. Same-day dispatch before 2pm.

For permanent installations without a breadboard, the Nano breakout board with screw terminals seats this Nano and exposes every pin to captive connectors.
