This is not solder. It is fine enamelled copper wire, sometimes called magnet wire, and it does two jobs on an electronics bench: repairing broken PCB traces and winding your own coils and inductors.
The enamel insulation burns away at soldering temperature, so you tin it straight from the reel without stripping anything. At 0.1 mm it is thin enough to bridge a lifted pad or run along a board without getting in the way.

Working With It
- No stripping. Tin the end at normal soldering temperature and the enamel burns back on its own. Around 320°C works well.
- Tin before you place it. Far easier than trying to tin it in position on a crowded board.
- It is fine wire, treat it gently. At 0.1 mm it will break if you tug it. Anchor both ends properly.
- The enamel is the insulation. Once burned back it is bare copper, so keep the tinned length short if it is running near other tracks.
