Adjustable Airflow

A brushless fan with 20 speed levels and a maximum airflow of 80L/min lets you match airflow precisely to the task at hand. Use lower speeds for fine SMD work where you need control, and higher speeds for larger surface areas or faster post-task cooling. The fan runs at under 65dB, keeping your workspace quiet.

Built-In Display and Controls

A clear 1.54-inch LCD screen shows your current temperature and airflow settings at a glance. All controls sit on the handle itself, so you can make adjustments with one hand without putting the gun down.

Three programmable presets let you save your most-used settings and switch between tasks instantly — no resetting from scratch each time. Screen brightness is adjustable for different lighting conditions, and you can choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit display.

Magnetic Stand and Auto Standby

The SAG-55 handle contains a magnetic sensor that communicates with the stand. Lift the gun and heating activates automatically. Place it back in the stand and it enters standby mode on its own — no buttons to press while your hands are full.

During standby, a rapid cooling function increases airflow to bring the element temperature down faster, protecting the tool between uses and reducing energy consumption.

Safety

Real-time monitoring keeps watch throughout operation. If anything abnormal is detected, the system automatically shuts off heat output. The rapid cooling function during standby also acts as a secondary safety measure by reducing residual heat quickly after use.

Compact and Ergonomic

Both models share the same core hardware: 550W power, 100°C–450°C temperature range, PID control, and the full 1–20 speed airflow system. The difference comes down to the stand.

The Standard SAG-55 includes a basic metal stand that holds the gun securely between uses.

The SAG-55 Pro upgrades to a smart magnetic sleep stand that works with the gun’s built-in magnetic sensor to unlock two automatic features:

• Auto Standby — When you place the gun in the Pro stand, it detects the magnetic contact and immediately lowers temperature and enters standby mode. No manual input needed.
• Rapid Auto Cooling — On docking, the gun increases airflow to cool the element down faster, reducing wear and protecting the tip.

The Pro stand is purpose-built for this functionality. The basic stand that comes with the Standard Set does not trigger these automatic responses.
