TTP223 Capacitive Touch Switch Module (10pcs)

The TTP223 capacitive touch switch module replaces mechanical buttons with a solid-state touch pad that triggers on the lightest contact. Each module runs from 2.5V to 5.5V and outputs a clean TTL signal, making it a direct drop-in for any GPIO pin on an Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi. The default mode is momentary (no-lock); solder the A and B pads to switch to latching (self-lock) output without any code changes.

  • 2.5V–5.5V supply — compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic boards
  • TTL digital output — direct GPIO connection, no ADC needed
  • No-lock or self-lock mode — set by soldering A/B jumper pads
  • CCL substrate — durable laminate rated for repeated touch cycles
  • Pack of 10 — enough for a full project or classroom set

How do you switch the TTP223 between momentary and latching mode?

Bridge the A solder pad on the back of the module to enable self-locking output: one touch turns the output high, the next touch turns it low. Leave A open (factory default) for momentary output that goes high only while touched. No firmware change needed — the mode is set in hardware.

Can the TTP223 work through a panel or enclosure front?

Yes. The capacitive field penetrates non-conductive materials up to approximately 3mm thick, including acrylic, ABS plastic, and thin wood. Mounting the module behind a drilled-free front panel gives a completely seamless look with no exposed contacts.

Best for

Arduino button replacements, ESP32 smart home controls, LED lamp touch dimmers, keyboard custom macropad keys, wearable power switches, enclosure-mounted hidden controls, and any project where a mechanical button would wear out or introduce noise.
