TTP223B Single-Channel Capacitive Touch Switch Module
The TTP223B is a single-touch capacitive switch module that replaces mechanical buttons with a solid-state touch pad triggered by the lightest contact. It outputs a digital TTL signal at 2.5V–5.5V supply and is configurable between momentary (no-lock) and latching (self-lock) output by soldering the A pad, and between active-high and active-low by soldering the B pad — four behaviour combinations from two solder pads, set in hardware without code.
- Single capacitive touch sensor — no moving parts
- 2.5V–5.5V supply — 3.3V and 5V compatible
- 4 operating modes — combinations of lock/no-lock and active high/low
- TTL digital output — direct GPIO connection
- Responds through non-conductive panels — up to 3mm acrylic or plastic
How does TTP223B differ from TTP223?
The TTP223B and TTP223 are functionally the same — both use the TTP223 touch IC. The B suffix on the module name typically indicates the module version rather than a different chip. Library compatibility and wiring are identical between the two module variants.
Best for
Enclosure-mounted touch buttons, LED dimmer switches, smart home controls, wearable power switches, robot mode selectors, and any project replacing a mechanical button with a seamless touch surface.
