0.91 Inch 128×32 Blue OLED Display Module for Arduino

This 0.91 inch OLED display module gives your Arduino or ESP32 project a sharp 128×32 pixel blue readout from a single I2C connection. The SSD1306 driver runs on 3.3V or 5V, making it compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers such as the ESP8266 and 5V boards like the Arduino Uno without a level shifter. At under 4 grams, it fits into enclosures where a larger screen simply would not.

  • 128×32 OLED display — self-illuminating, no backlight needed
  • SSD1306 driver — wide library support including Adafruit SSD1306 and U8g2
  • I2C interface (SDA/SCL) — only 2 data pins, leaves your GPIOs free
  • 3.3V–5V supply range — works directly with Arduino and ESP boards
  • 0.91 inch diagonal, 37.5 x 12 mm active area — fits compact enclosures

What library works with this OLED?

The SSD1306 chip is supported by Adafruit SSD1306, U8g2, and the ESP8266/ESP32 OLED library by ThingPulse. All three are available through the Arduino Library Manager. Most sketches are running in under 10 minutes from a blank project.

Does it need a level shifter with 3.3V boards?

No. The module accepts 3.3V logic on the SDA and SCL lines, so it connects directly to an ESP8266 NodeMCU, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi Pico without a level converter. On a 5V Arduino Uno the I2C pull-up resistors on the module handle the voltage bridging.

How does OLED compare to a standard LCD for readability?

OLED pixels emit their own light, so contrast is pixel-perfect regardless of ambient light. A standard HD44780 LCD needs a backlight and reads poorly in direct sunlight. The 0.91 inch OLED remains legible in bright workshop conditions where a backlit LCD washes out.

Best for

Arduino status displays, ESP32 IoT sensor readouts, temperature and humidity dashboards, portable battery monitors, custom keyboard OLED indicators, wearable electronics, retro badge projects, and any build where a 16×2 LCD is too large.

Why Kunkune

Shipped from the UK with Royal Mail 1–2 day delivery. 60-day returns and no minimum order — buy one module or a handful. No drama.

For four text lines and a larger 128×64 pixel area, the 0.96 inch OLED module is the next size up — same SSD1306 driver, same library.
