The HLK-LD2410C is a 24GHz FMCW radar sensor that detects both stationary and moving human presence up to 6 meters away. Unlike traditional PIR sensors that only detect movement, this module continuously monitors occupancy even when people are sitting, sleeping, or working without motion.
Core Detection Capabilities: The LD2410C provides 0.57-meter resolution with ยฑ60ยฐ horizontal coverage, enabling precise distance measurement and zone-specific sensitivity adjustment. The 24GHz FMCW radar technology offers superior environmental immunity compared to PIR sensors, remaining unaffected by temperature changes and reducing false alarms from pets or moving objects.
Technical Specifications: Operating at 5V with 79mA average current consumption, the module communicates via UART at 2560 baud rate. The LD2410C variant includes Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity for wireless configuration using PC tools, web configurators, or mobile apps.
