HX711 Weight and Pressure Sensor Amplifier Module
The HX711 is a dedicated 24-bit ADC amplifier for load cell and strain gauge measurements, designed to connect a Wheatstone bridge load cell to any microcontroller over a simple two-wire interface (DOUT, CLK). With an input range of +/-20mV and 24-bit resolution, it resolves sub-gram weight differences when paired with appropriate load cells. The module operates from 2.7V to 5.25V and the output rate is selectable between 10Hz and 80Hz via a RATE pin.

Which load cells are compatible with the HX711?
Any strain gauge load cell with a Wheatstone bridge output is compatible: single-point cells (used in kitchen scales), S-beam cells (for tension and compression), and bar cells (for platform scales). Connect the cell’s E+ (excitation positive), E- (excitation negative), S+ (signal positive), and S- (signal negative) wires to the corresponding HX711 module terminals.
