Arduino UNO WiFi R3 Compatible — ATmega328P and ESP8266 Dual Processor
This UNO WiFi board combines the familiar ATmega328P in the standard UNO R3 footprint with an ESP8266 ESP-12E WiFi module, giving the Uno WiFi capability without a separate shield. DIP switches configure which chip has USB access and how the two processors communicate — standalone ATmega, standalone ESP8266, or serial passthrough where the ATmega sends AT commands to the ESP8266 over UART. All standard Uno R3 shields are compatible with the ATmega side of the board.
- ATmega328P at 16MHz — full Uno R3 compatibility
- ESP8266 ESP-12E — 2.4GHz WiFi, AT command firmware
- DIP switch mode selection — standalone ATmega, standalone ESP8266, or passthrough
- CH340G USB interface
- All Uno R3 headers — standard shield compatibility
Best for
WiFi-enabled Uno projects, remote sensor data upload, OTA sketch update via ESP8266, Arduino IoT builds on existing Uno-shield hardware, and learning to combine ATmega and ESP8266 on one board.
