MAX9814 Microphone AGC Amplifier Module for Arduino
The MAX9814 electret microphone module includes automatic gain control (AGC) that continuously adjusts amplification to keep the output signal level constant regardless of whether the sound source is close or far away — eliminating manual gain tuning. Output is a 2Vpp analogue signal centred at VCC/2, directly readable by an Arduino ADC for sound level measurement, FFT analysis, or audio recording. Attack and release times for the AGC are set by onboard capacitors.
