HX711 Load Cell Amplifier with 4x 50kg Load Cells — 24-Bit Precision Scale
This kit combines an HX711 24-bit ADC amplifier board with four 50kg load cells pre-wired in a Wheatstone bridge configuration, providing everything needed to build a 200kg capacity platform scale. The HX711 outputs readings over a two-wire serial interface (DOUT, CLK) compatible with any Arduino or ESP32 digital pin, with a noise floor of 50 nanograms at 10Hz sample rate. Gain is selectable at 64 or 128 for the A input channel.
- 4x 50kg load cells — pre-wired bridge, total capacity 200kg
- HX711 24-bit ADC amplifier — 50ng noise floor at 10Hz
- Two-wire serial interface — DOUT, CLK on any digital pins
- Gain 64 or 128 — selectable via CLK pulse count
- 10Hz or 80Hz output rate — jumper selectable
- 2.7V–5.25V supply

How do you zero and calibrate the scale?
The bogde HX711 Arduino library handles tare and calibration: call scale.tare() to zero the reading, place a known weight, then call scale.get_units() and divide by the actual weight to find your calibration factor. Store the factor in EEPROM for persistence between power cycles. Calibration takes under 5 minutes with a known reference weight.
Best for
DIY kitchen or postal scales, luggage weight monitors, industrial platform scales, animal weighing, compost bin fill level, silo inventory monitoring, and Arduino weight-triggered automation.
